“We’ve been delighted with the service we’ve had.”

Attracting clients is hard and retaining them can be even harder. That’s why we strive to offer a highly professional and personal service. It’s this dedication to business success that helps clients choose us and stay with us.

We sat down with Elizabeth Reed, director at Reed Financial Planning, to find out why they chose us, how they found the experience and what we could do better. After all, improving what we offer will help us improve what our clients can offer.

Who are Reed Financial Planning?

Reed Financial Planning was established in 2004 and has adopted a holistic approach to financial planning. In other words, before they offer advice on your finances they like to look at all aspects of your personal and financial life.

Having the complete picture allows them to create a financial plan that will actually work for you and one that you can adhere to. They aim to give you peace of mind while effortlessly moving toward your financial goals.

Finding WEBPRO

We’re specialists in creating and managing websites for the financial services industry and have developed relationships with many of the financial networks over the years.

Reed Financial Planning is directly regulated and uses Threesixty for compliance. When Elizabeth asked Threesixty who they would recommend for a website, they were told about WEBPRO.

It’s always good to hear we’re being recommended.

Choosing the right path to success

Elizabeth knew they needed a new website. Theirs was tired, dated and not a good landing pad for their current and prospective clients. She’d been putting off creating a new site because, to the uninitiated, it’s an onerous process.

Her first call to us was about chatting through our different template levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. After hearing all of the options, Elizabeth felt our bronze level was the right choice for them.

The initial call was the start of a few more as Elizabeth discussed their old site and what they were looking for. Nicoleta, the website developer for the project, paid attention, making copious notes before producing the first draft of the new Reed Financial Planning website. More tweaks followed until the website we created was exactly what Elizabeth and her team was looking for.

Despite the back and forth, Elizabeth said:

“The process was very easy, we had literature we already used. We took a lot of info from that and told you we needed it included, then looked at formats. You facilitated the process, allowing us to tweak it and you kept making the changes we needed. We got what we wanted.”

“I think, as far as the staff feel, they’ve had input.”

It’s always rewarding to know our communication is effective. Elizabeth and her team were involved in every step of the creation process, with each draft being sent around the team for comments.

The comments were fed back to us and were instrumental in creating the finished site. We strove to understand the team and regularly spoke to Elizabeth to ensure we were meeting her needs.

This approach must have worked as she said:

“It’s lovely to have that contact with someone you know and you feel understands what your requirements are.”

Her comment that the whole process, including the communication, was a positive and simple experience was well received by our team.

Due diligence

Elizabeth is relatively unique in that she already understood something that we try really hard to get across to those businesses who work largely based on referrals. That is, the power of a website to confirm a reputation. For many clients, even if they have been referred by someone they trust, checking a website is simply part of their due diligence.

Reed Financial Planning are confident that the new site will pass the test for referrals doing their online research.

As a business matures, its goals evolve. A business that is just starting out will have different goals at the beginning of their journey than when it is older.
Creating a website is an essential part of business success but it’s understandably not usually something that business owners specialise in.
Getting any business started can be challenging, especially when you’re in the competitive financial advice sector.
