...some amazing charities

Here at WEBPRO, it's really important to us that we give back. There are various charities that we support regularly and throughout the year, as a team, we get involved with as many charity events as we can.

Here are some of the things we have been doing lately...

Graphic of a heart

Volunteers' Week

In June 2025, we wanted to support Volunteers' Week by donating to Volunteer Now.

They say:
Volunteer Now is the lead organisation for promoting and supporting volunteering across Northern Ireland.  We build recognition for volunteering and celebrate the contribution volunteers make.  We provide access to opportunities and encourage people to volunteer.  We are a resource for volunteer involving organisations providing support on involving volunteers, governance and safeguarding.

National Smile Month

National Smile Month started in May 2025 and we marked the occasion with a donation to the Oral Health Foundation.

According to them:
The Oral Health Foundation is an independent charity (not for profit) dedicated to improving oral health and wellbeing around the world. For more than 45 years we have continued to provide expert, independent and impartial advice on all aspects of oral health directly to those who need it most.

We work closely with governments, dental and health professionals, manufacturers, the dental trade, national and local agencies and the public, to achieve our mission of addressing the inequalities which exist in oral health, changing people's lives for the better.

Stress Awareness Month

In April 2025, we supported Stress Awareness Month with a donation to Mental Health Foundation.

They say:
Mental Health Foundation is the only UK charity solely focused on preventing poor mental health and building and protecting good mental health.

Mental health is one of the most important foundations for a healthy and long life, and we believe everyone deserves good mental health.

No-one living in the UK should be deprived of the opportunity for good mental health because of who they are, the community they come from or where they live.

Poor mental health is not inevitable. There are things we can do as individuals, in our communities and across society to help us all to live with good mental health.

Great Daffodil Appeal

Spring had truly sprung in March 2025 and the WEBPRO team got into the spirit by supporting Marie Curie's Great Daffodil Appeal.

According to them:
"Marie Curie provides a better end of life for more people, whatever the illness. We’re here for anyone living with any illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. We provide free palliative and end of life care, information and support. We campaign for more people to have a better end of life and fund palliative care research."

World Spay Day

In February 2025, we supported World Spay Day with a donation to RSPCA.

In their own words:
"All animals deserve our kindness, whether they live in homes, farms, labs, or in the wild. We speak up for them, protect them, rescue and care for them – with you by our side."

International Day of Education

We started 2025 off by supporting International Day of Education with a donation to Unicef.

Unicef say:
"Every child has the right to an education—whatever their ability, location, gender or ethnicity. We are working to make sure all children get the right to a quality education.

At the moment, this right is not afforded to every child. 70% of 10-year-olds in low and middle-income countries cannot read and understand a simple story.

Children who haven’t had the opportunity to learn are more likely to remain trapped in cycles of poverty. They’re at greater risk of other rights violations, such as forced labour, early marriage or forced recruitment into armed groups."

Know a charity that should be on our list? We'd love to hear about it!
