A straightforward process

As part of our commitment to Discover Financial, we sat down with David Yeardley, one of the directors, to chat about their experience working with us and how we might improve our service.

Choosing the right template

“I’m not an expert by any means or imagination. But I’ve got a bit of a background in IT so I guess it was a little bit easier for us, but it was pretty easy.”

We offer three template levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold, each with their own levels of functionality. David felt choosing a template was a straightforward process and the team at WEBPRO gave him a good understanding of what he would get with each level.

Shortly after going through the options, he selected the bronze package and placed an order. It couldn’t have been simpler or, as David said, “it was pretty easy.”

Creating the website

Once the order from Discover Financial had been placed, we contacted David for an onboarding meeting and talked through what he was looking for.

When we reviewed the creation process, David revealed there was a little more back and forth than he would have liked and wondered if there was a lack of understanding in what it was he was looking for.

That’s useful feedback for us to take on board and work on. The good news was that David was very happy with the finished website and he was quick to reiterate that he was happy throughout the process of creating his new website as well.

Fundamental to success

David acknowledged that, in the modern world, having a website is fundamental to success. You can’t appear like a professional firm without one.

Not only do Discover Financial now have their own website that looks good, they don’t have to worry about compliance as we got the approval for the initial website and we will also handle the annual renewals.

To get started as a new business, David just wanted an online presence. Our chat revealed the need for more in the future.
