Nedbank Private Wealth offer a boutique wealth management and private banking service to high-net-worth clients around the world. They offer a highly personalised service to their clients and really take the time to get to know them. Nedbank Private Wealth got to know about WEBPRO through one of their new employees, Fiona Nicolson, who had a longstanding relationship with us prior to joining them. Fiona had used Nedbank Private Wealth’s website to research the business through her recruitment process and found it confusing to use and it didn’t explain what they did. When she got settled in her new role, it became clear to Fiona that the general feeling within Nedbank Private Wealth matched her initial experience. This version of their website was actually harming the business rather than helping it! So, we were called in to help sort the issues out and get them back on track.
A website transformation
The brief
The focus of the new website was on usability - how to make the website flow nicely, be easy to navigate and allow users to find what they are looking for with as little searching around as possible. For a website as big and complex as Nedbank Private Wealth's, it was clear this was going to be a challenge but it was important to get the website being used to its full potential and encouraging both clients and advisers to use it regularly.

The solution
We designed the new Nedbank Private Wealth website to grab visitors’ attention with its strikingly bold contrast of their brand colours – green and black. The website’s design, utilising the shapes from the existing logo, draws visitors in, encouraging them to scroll further. The website’s individuality is enhanced through its use of imagery. It was extremely important to Fiona and her team that the stock imagery not be 'cheesy' and the same as the bulk of websites within financial services and our creative team worked with the marketing department at Nedbank Private Wealth to ensure this wasn't the case.
The new website comprehensively explores every crevice of the business, offering substantial content across all areas. This means it is still a very large website, however the user experience is much more positive. The navigation and hierarchy of the website is now much clearer and easy to use, there are defined areas of the website for the different stakeholders and there is a search functionality that works.

The result
The new website has had extremely positive feedback within Nedbank Private Wealth. Now that they have a website they can be proud of, we are now working on a monthly SEO project and Google Ads campaign that will focus on bringing Nedbank Private Wealth more new clients.
