Hearnes is an estate agent located in the Bournemouth area which was first opened in 1996 by Lynda Hearne and Lyndon Le Boutillier. Hearnes offers an individual and client-focused service and cite their friendliness and professionalism as their USPs. Lyndon has been a client of WEBPRO for many years, having been instrumental in the development of our estate agency software. Whist they were using our software, Hearnes decided to have their bespoke website created by another agency, however the website didn’t operate like they wanted and unfortunately wasn’t a success. Lyndon had always been impressed with WEBPRO's service, so he got in touch to see how we could help.

The brief
Tasked with fixing the issues left by the previous agency, it soon became clear that a brand new website was needed. The website needed to be of a bespoke solution to cater to the unique needs of Hearnes. They needed a solution that showcases the properties they are selling, brings in new business in the form of both buyers and sellers and highlights their specialist knowledge of the local area. Lyndon was already using our estate agency software and the website needed to integrate this and make the process of managing properties effortless. They had had problems in this area with their previous website provider.

The solution
Focussing on making it as easy as possible for potential buyers to find a property that suits their needs, we worked with Lyndon to develop a property search that works. We coupled this with an alert system that means Hearnes' buyers are always the first to know when a new property that matches their criteria is listed.
Hearnes have extensive knowledge of the local area, having lived and worked there for many years. We used local photos (most of which were taken by Lyndon himself) coupled with carefully selected stock images to bring the website and written content alive while emphasising the local connection. The Bournemouth area is a picturesque part of the country and these images make the website come alive.
There’s a comprehensive team area which allows visitors to get to know the team and helps build their friendly and professional profile with both buyers and sellers. This area does a fabulous job of highlighting the team's knowledge and expertise while also showing them as real people.

The result
Lyndon believes that the new website is a “monumental success”. Nobody ever suggests ways of improving it unlike their previous website and Lyndon believes that "no news is good news". We are still working with Hearnes to develop their online profile, building on the initial success of the new website with an in-depth SEO project designed to really push their standing in the local area.
